Well, some of you know me and know that I recently sold my hot car about three months ago and bought a nice Z71 SILVERADO! Truth be told, I miss my car more than I could have ever imagine and have been going nutz without it.
I talked it over with the wife, who agreed that we are going to be buying a different car to replace her current ride and I have been kicking around different makes and models and I continue to return to my desire of a C5 ZO6 (which is what I wanted from the beginning when I bought the coupe). Well, I am getting ready to negotiate for orders soon and if the detailer sends me some where that will be relatively warm year around (no threat of snow), I will be (wife okayed it) a C5 ZO6 sometime next Spring.
I still poke my head into the forum from time to time and realize that I really miss my CORVETTE!
I am an addict and need my fix! I had to agree, that if I buy another I cannot mod it until I retire from the Navy (four years to go) and have another job.
i went to the chevy dealership in 05 to by a new vette and came home with a duramax. i love my duramax but i really wanted that corvette. well i got the c5 now and still have the truck. good luck
I had a 73 Vette when I was 17 and had sell it before I turned 19 for college $$$$ It took me 16 years before I picked up my 74 vert and only 3 more years before I added a C5 vert.
Do what you need to do now to put yourself in a position to get the things you want some day.
I have a 3rd one that you can come drive anytime here in Ky if you need a quick fix. With only two of us in the house that can drive and 3 vettes that means ones all ways in the garage. But there's one draw back it's a C4 your not getting one of my C5's to drive. Good luck on getting a new one.
