Default A couple pics...

Hey everyone! Just figured I'd post a couple pics of the new wheels on here. Definitely nothing special considering all the HRE's, CCW's, IForged on here, but they look great to me. I just bought them from stngklrZ06 last week and put them on this weekend.

They're Ace Slick Hyperblack wheels in 18 x 9.5 and 18 x 11 with 265's and 295's.

By the way, they're not the greatest pics but I hope you don't mind. Enjoy!

Here's a Before with those awesome wagon wheels :

And here's the afters:

Thanks for the comments guys.

I knew someone was going to tell me to lower it.

You know, I had a 2000 Nassau FRC that was lowered and it looked great. Right now, however, where I live and drive, I already scrape the lower plastic air dam thingy. So it would be kinda stupid for me to lower it.

If I lived somewhere where there really were no hills and steep dips I would definitely lower it because the look is worth it, but right now, I'm going to keep it how it is.

Again, thanks for the comments!

Looks great, but how much more road debris is finding it's way on your nice paint job?

I've only had the wheels on since Saturday, haven't done that much driving around yet but I have noticed a couple changes:

1. These wheels are definitely heavier than the ugly wagon wheels, and I can feel it. I would say they're about 5 pounds heavier each wheel. At initial acceleration, the car doesn't seem to have the same umph that it did with those ugly wheels on. That's okay, because I plan on adding more power with headers, cam and maybe heads and a few other things in the future.

2. The car turns more heads now. I was driving around on Saturday, and it seems like everyone wanted to look. It's kinda weird, but I'll get used to it.

Anyway, thanks for the comments. I'll try to get some better pics up in the future. I just really love these wheels!
