I'm at the low end of that range and I've got the Textralia OZ700 which is popular and works great for cars with even more power than that.

Just curious.... you have Larry's(from Speed Inc.) previous car right? Are you starting to have problems with the LS7 unit that is currently installed in that car? I would think at the lower end of your range (400-500) it would be adequate, it does seem as the HP level gets to 450 or more it is not the best choice. If you gonna be closer to the 500 range then look into the Textrailia set up.

Centerforce Dual Friction. I have 500/530 and I love it. I feel like such a clutch ***** but it feels so soft and smooth.

Yes, it is Larrys old car. I do not have any problem with the LS7. I love it & feels great. I was just seeing what other people out there are using.

So far so good.... was at the track last weekend on M/T drag radials, launching near 5K (quick slip) with some hot laps....never once smelled burning clutch, no pedal problems and absolutely no slip. I think for a bolt on or mild H/C set up its the best clutch around. Alot of the C6 Z06 guys seem to complain but even in stock for those cars put down 450 or better to the wheels with alot of torque so that looks like the outer limit from a power standpoint. Perfect clutch for a 400 rwhp set up though.

Aussie here too. On my second one and love it. Very close to OEM in feel but clamps hard, and takes hot laps and hard use. We wrapped the lines to help keep the heat out, and went to a dot 4 which helped out too. If you are doing a clutch, might as well install a remote bleeder too so you can keep the fluid fresh. Good luck man!
