As one of my Drill SGTs said as we were partying outside the barracks during the Veterns day weekend, "Don't forget to drink one for the fallen soldier that isn't here today." We stood in stunned silence for several moments. I can still vividly remember that event to this day, and I never forget to remember what the day is all about.
The Original Corvette Club of St. Louis is proud to be participating in the St. Louis Veteran's Day parade today. Hats off to all who served past and present. We appreciate the sacrifice.
God Bless all of the Men and Women who have served and who are currently serving in the United States military!!!!! If it wasn't for you we would have no freedoms to protect and there would be no corvette to enjoy!!!! Thank you for all that you have done for this country, the greatest country on the face of the Earth!

As a retired member of the military and a VN Vet, I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to all you veterans out there that did your bit for the country.
I would also like to thank those men and women that are now entering the military and those that are in for the job they are doing to protect us here at home.
I'd also like to thank a special person who is my son who was injured overseas with the SF's, was retired, and is now, after fighting congress and the Army, back in uniform as a Combat Medic with the 101 Air Assault. My hats off to you.
Thank you veterans one and all.
Regards,
The Pup (A proud Dad)
I want to thank all veterans for our freedom, and those still serving to protect our freedom, and for those that gave it there all I salute you by going tomorrow to services.
I had the opportunity to talk to two WW II Marines who were on Okinawa and a Marine who is a Pearl Harbor survivor this morning at our annual Marine Corps birthday breakfast. What an honor and privilege! It was like talking to a part of American history. I could have listened to their stories all day. Happy 232nd birthday United States Marine Corps and thank you to all who have or are serving this great nation.
