Actually, 1SA wasn't an option, but the lack of options. It was the Base Equipment Group for that particular model. Be it coupe, vert, or hardtop. It's listed starting 2000. 1SB was listed starting 1998.

Pretty much what 2k2C5 said in his informative reply.
Based on the info provided in the previous responses, our 2000 Convertible with 1SA option code has the following:
sport seats
6-way power seats
dual zone A/C
fog lamps
memory package
twilight sentinel
HUD
power telescoping steering column
It does not have:
electrochromatic mirrors
The 1SC & 1SB packages did not come into the ordering process until 2001. All Corvettes prior to 2001 were 1SA cars and then you could order all your options, as you have listed above, seperately.

Thanks Glenn, that explains why our 2000 has sport seats, etc.
Very informative thread, thanks everyone for your input.

Pretty much, but, not quite, until his edit of his original quote about 18hrs later.

The 1SB was available in 1998. Or, is C5Registry wrong?

In reference to my original quote of "I don't believe there was an 1SA option". There wasn't. 1SA was the base equipment that came with the car. You couldn't get a Corvette without 1SA.
I was refering to optional equipment groups. My original post was a little misleading so I edited it for clarification.
1SA was an equipment group option. Just because it was no additional price - doesn't mean it wasn't an option.
When the dealer entered in the order, they had to select one of the equipment groups... even the lowly 1SA. 1SA was not a default. It had to be selected in the configuration of the car. Just because it added no additional price to the MSRP doesn't mean it wasn't an option.
so there
(tomorrow I'll edit this post to make it more clear... )
