I used Intercity when I had my car shipped from Maryland to Calif. I highly recommend them. They used an enclosed trailer, and they gave me updates as they crossed the country. My car arrived with a car cover on it, and in great shape. Here it is coming off of the truck. Expect to pay about $1800.

A second vote for Intercity Lines. I used Intercity Lines (http://www.intercitylines.com/) to ship my Z06 from Florida to PA...very professional service...car delivered in same pristine condition it was picked up in....I would highly recommend them...I believe that Intercity Lines & Fedex Passport (another good one to check out) do a lot of shipping for Barrett Jackson events.

Here is some photos:

And...finally home!

NEVER use DAS. They will destroy your car and refuse to repair it.

I will only use Horseless Cariage to ship my cars. Enclosed truck. The hauler will pick up and drop off your car. This generally means your car only moves twice. Once loading the car and once offloading it.

Why ship it?
Just get on a plane and drive it home-- consider it a "shake down" run.

Or, fly me out there, will drive it to your driveway and treat it like I do my own vette.

Intercity is the transport sponsor for the Barrett-Jackson auctions. Craig Jackson uses them to transport his own cars. Nuff said.

I dont want to drive it because its 2250 miles away. I dont want to add all those miles and plus i dont want to mess up the paint job due to pebbles and other stuff like that

Sounds like you're pretty picky (a good thing) I also can endorse Intercity .... brought my baby from pittsburg to Salt Lake City. Fantastic. You get what you pay for.
