Default Well.today is the day I have some pictures

the last day of my initial upgrades. Today the stripe gets put on from
Mikes Corvette stripes. Tires/rims from Tirerack, Venom intake from Halltech, shifter, ebrake boots from Mid-America, new shift **** from Corvettes of Houston, SLP powerflow exhaust have already been installed. The transformation of the car definately has people looking, and I cant be more happy.
The vendors have been great, the look I have wanted with the upgrades has come VERY close. The one thing that I have been aware of is that now it has also gotten the attention of everyone that has something to prove. The look on there face when I chuckle at them when they are goosing it next to me is priceless.
When I first purchased the car, I ran it through its paces pretty hard and it kept coming back for more. Now...all I want is for the car to be
a clean ride with power I can enjoy. I have shortened the shifter to the
point that the top of the **** is below the a/c *****. The new ball shifter would be difficult to power shift, therefore "limiting" me from thrashing. (my own self control measures)
I'll throw some photos up by monday, and get opinions. Just thought I would write this as a way to thank the vendors and all members here
for ideas. Now.....wheres that Maggie at for feb. !!??

Hello dadsturn!! Sounds like you are still adding features to the Vette. Will be interested in seeing some pictures of the car when you post them. We are loving it in Georgetown!

Just N.W. of Austin..........not far. Was back down to Katy and drove thru the old neighborhood about 6 months ago. Your garage wasn't open so figured you weren't around.

Modding a car to your taste is one of the more enjoyable things to do. Sounds like you got it right where you want it for now. Now just enjoy the ride.

When you get the pictures in Photobucket, under each photo there is a listing under each picture, the 2nd one is the "direct link" left click on that, it will pop up "Copied" in yellow, then go to the forum and hit the "insert image" a box will pop up, move the cursor to the box with the http: and just right click and it will add the link.. then submit reply and WALAH!!!
