Hi, i noticed that my radiator reserve was almost empty. Car is going on (5) years old and has 28K on the odometer. I filled the reserve with 50/50 Dex Cool/Water.
Is this an issue with the reserve going almost empty? I do not have any leaks etc..... I also assume that i need to get a radiator flush correct?

How did you come to the conclusion you don't have any leaks? Where do you think the coolant went?
Shop manual says 150,000 miles or 5 years for a drain and refill. It also says if the coolant is clean, no need for a flush. Clean means nice "pink" color, not muddy red or brown.
Flush is just refilling with water, running, and draining until it drains clear. DO NOT use a chemical flush.
Mine was okay after 5 years and 57,000 miles, so no flush. Just did SECOND 5 year re-fill, still good, so no flush. My 1998 has 109,000+ miles.

MedChoice Tony, I would keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't go empty again soon, a little coolant loss over 5 years isn't that uncommon. If it goes empty again in a short time span and you don't see any leaking anywhere, it could have a head gasket problem and be going out the exhaust. I just completely flushed the coolant in mine a week ago. It is a 2000 with 24,000 miles on it, but I had no idea if the coolant had ever been changed and we are now coming up on possibly being 8 years old, so I didn't want to take any chances.
