hey does anyone have problems with tinting the back window. im told by tintworld that the top back will not look right because of the big black dots on it. they say it will bubble up
Find some real pros that know what they are doing. Syndicate in San Diego did mine they applied a black vinyl piece over the dots that matched the limo tint perfectly, looks great!

If an installer knows what they are doing it can be done. You probably will have the tint stand out from the dots after installation, all you have to do is use your fingertips to smooth it down and when it dries and shrinks it will look fine. Make sure you take it to a shop that will do it in ONE piece.
I love my tint, one of the best mods I've done.......Oh and one more tip, if you're using a radar detector or satellite radio make sure they use Non-Metallic tint.

If you have a 3M window tint dealer in your area check them out. They did mine (35%) and the rear window was done in one piece. Lifetime warranty. Looks great and no problems.

Still haven't decided which wheel looks better on pewter, your style or mine. Might have to get a set like those too.
Find someone that knows what they are doing, my friend and I got both of our cars tinted at the same time, he went the cheap route and they could not tint where the dots are, I paid a little extra not to much more and it came out perfect!!
I just bought a 98 C5 a few months back and the tint is actually starting to peel off one of the passenger windows and the back looks really weird looking through it. Any recos in terms of having it redone? I am thinking of just doing the dark again, but open minded about it. 3M seems to get the high praise. Anyone know a good place around Raleigh, NC?

OK what if the tint has been on for a while and isn't on very well over the dot. Can you still rub it down if you rewet the surface?
