Default need help

I just purchased a halltech intake from a fellow forum member, and going to install this morning, but have a ridiculous question. The airbridge does not have a hole for whatever sensor is plugged into the drivers side of the stock airbridge.... Can someone explain what i do with this????

Thanks so much.

That's the air intake temp sensor......just drill the new airbridge in the same spot and transfer the grommet etc. from your old one

That should do it.
I bought a K&N for mine off the forum. It was for the early C5 with the the hole. I just put in a grommet and plugged it. Works fine.

Thanks. i read the instructions on the halltec site, and there is no mention of drilling. I am now wondering if i was sold the wrong one. The warhead filter opening seems to be too large compared to the maf. unless I put one of the ruber gaskets and clamp bands on it.... I am just confused and frustrated right now.. actually pissed if this is the wrong item.

ok, I am an idiot yes, i admit it. I drilled the hole, looked perfec, but it is unfortunately a hair too large. the gromet fit but is slightly loose. what is solution to tight the gromet to the airbridge. i don't want to think i just tossed my $ away, but I may have. could I use a high temp gasket maker, or some kind of wrap on the gromet to create a snugger fit? Sorry about the stupid question, but I can't believe I f'd up like this - ever so slightly.

Thanks.

Try a wee bit of Aquarium seal (silicone). Most hardware stores sell it in small tubes and is clear and stays pliable.

Just let it set up for a bit 1st.
