Default c6 zo6 brakes

Just need a little help.

I was selling my 01 zo6 brakes with bear eradispeed rotors when i was reading thru some posts... Question is will my 01 zo6 accept c6 zo6 calipers right on to my stock brackets? And also i have the 1" upsize on the rear, however i have 19/20 rim combo on the car now, which was ordered to accept the big brake conversion?

I have no idea, but I'd imagine the C6 Z06 calipers have different mounting points.

I highly doubt it'll be a direct swap over.

what off set do your wheels have? if it is not large enough the C6Z brakes may not fit your wheels either.

Frank, I am told the C6 Z06 is a direct bolt on. With your size wheels, diameter will not be a problem, but offset could be. Spacers will solve that if is a problem.....

The offsets should be ok as i ordered the wheels expecting to go big brakes, if i can just bolt them on i would be in great shape as my rotors are like new. My only concern would be if the rear 1" up rotors with the new calipers would be too big?

yes they bolt on to where your brackets bolt on. as long as your offset allows and you have 18"+ rims you should be good to go.

I have done the C6 Z06 brake upgrade and they bolt right up to the stock locations. Even used the same bolts. You will need longer SS brake lines though. Sounds like your squared away with wheel fitment.

the goodridge lines are long enough. do they have square fittings for the calipers? if so, you'll have to grind off the fitting stop on the caliper.

the goodridge c5 lines fit but like has been said you can grind off some of the tab stop, brings the hose away from the top bolt.i had eradispeed
rotors but didnt bother to even go there to see how close the would have come.i used racing brake brake rotors.the six/four piston calipers
bolt staight up no problem

How did you like your eradispeeds? I'm considering a set for my '01. Why did you decide to go to the c6z brakes?
