Beginner Mods to Silver C5 Vert
I recently moved from a 1990 vert to a 2004 vert and have been spending way too much time for my own good perusing this wonderful forum. I have owned 3 corvettes over the years but all have been stock and I'm interested in attempting some light duty mods to my C5. My current interests are possibly adding mesh grills, bumper lettering and painted or coated calipers, all things I believe I can do on my own with the help of all the great information on this forum.
My question is what color scheme would look best on a silver convertible with black interior? I know ultimately it is a personal preference but any input or pics would be appreciated.

Welcome to the C5 side! 
All are mods you can do easily yourself. Grills and lettering, Chip at CCA has good stuff, and great service. Caliper paint you can get at Autozone, or any other auto store. All you need is high temp caliper or engine paint. Either will work. As for a color scheme......man that's up to you. Everyone always says red or black for the calipers, but IMO blue, on your silver vette, would look awesome! Just my .02

I'd go with the Silver/Black theme ...blacked out lights, screens, tinted windows, paint lower rear facia black, and black or red calipers ...Black wheels with a polished lip would look good too ...

I'd go with SS inserts, I love the Z06 screens. I got mine from COH, but have seen some good deals lately from RPI. Please don't do red calipers! Depending on what wheels you have, that could be an area to upgrade, and don't forget the GHL exhaust!.

I love my CCWs, but I do think black rims with our color combo is sweet!
And if you're gonna go through the trouble of painting your calipers,
you may as well make 'em so they can be seen......red. I'm going to do that also. Good luck!
