Damn that's one sweet setup
it should make some good spanking power......
I wonder if it's a dry sump or wet sump oiling system??

As for the intercoolers! We'll see if heat soak is a problem with it!
Now we all need the specs and if it will bolt into a C5
Thanks,Matt

I would imagine having the inter cooler on top will make quite a difference in regards to heat soaking issues...........plus what looks to be a "plate" style heat exchanger is also very efficient.

But why supercharge the LS3 instead of the LS7? Cooling issues with that large small-block?
There is NO substitute for cubic inches!

Is it actually verified that they are SC'ing the LS3 and not the LS7?

I think it is more like 10 or 12 rib.

I saw somwhere where a GM spokesperson said that it had to do with durability of the hand-built LS7. Trying to find it again to post.

The smaller bore of the LS3 allows for better head gasket sealing w/ the boosted motor. The shorter stroke is better for the stresses of boost too.

So basically it boils down to durability, which is kinda what I figured. It's too bad that they couldn't have gone for the ultimate blower/Cubic inch engine combo, but 650 HP ain't bad.
