I used a corvette picture of a xmas parade from random surfing and made it an avatar. It was a pic of some unknown chearleaders marching in front of a blue coupe. I thought it was great statement about Corvettes and Parades and Chearleaders! I have a Convertible. Evenually the owner of the vette was told and emailed me. He was flattered. I used it for a while and moved on.

Thats weird BUT, its not a first
I had a rift with a guy a few years ago that posted a picture of my 81 in his photo album...
When I confronted him he said he really liked the photo and had always wanted one the same color because his dad had one...
As it turned out he was just a kid that didn't even own a car and was all over the forum. Really funny part is that he was posting technical answers and commenting on "in his experience" crap.
Bottom line, I would sure like to know how many CF regulars are posers. Flattered, no; creeped, you bet!

All the dude needed to do, is not get a avatar from the same forum you are on, like da....go to maybe, autotrader, kbb, so on..yea anymore cameras are pretty inexpensive.....My FRC is red, plenty of choices, but I want my FRC, not another....
