Everyone Please Read This
It was brought to my attention yesterday that a fellow CF Members was using my old avatar of my Yellow Z06 as there avatar also.
The picture was taken at my home in New Orleans, and the Dodge truck in the avatar is my brothers work truck.
The person using my old avatar is "turboteal"
The car in his avatar is mine, but this is not me. I want to publically say this since soemone else is using my car as there avatar.
I guess I'll take it as flattery, but "turboteal" says that our cars are identical, so I guess he can use it.
I dont know what the policy about that is, since I have never heard of someone doing this.
I just want to publically state that "Johncbourg" is not "turboteal"
I would hope that "turboteal" will get a digital camera and take some shots of his car, and use that. However in the mean time I guess its ok since I have a new ECS avatar

As long as it's OK with you John, since its your car in the pic.
I still thinks its creepy though LOL. Just slap a C5 crossed flags emblem until you get a digital camera turboteal.

Don't know that there are any rules prohibiting it. I guess as long as he is not using it in a negative way, I'd be OK with it. But it is unusual that someone would use a pic of another person's car as their avatar.

I wonder why he doesn't want a pic of his own car on his Avatar?
I know I wouldn't be happy if someone had a pic of my car and of a pic that I took.
Especially when it's modded!!!
I'd definately ask him to remove his Avatar of a car that he is basically representing as his, and it's really yours.
I'm sure he would feel the same if someone else used his car on their Avatar.

I did PM him and he seems like a ok guy, but I'm torn between being flattered and flabergasted.
