It's worth it if plumbed correctly and placed in the right place of the engine bay.

Those are real, nice and they are not as expensive as the AMW one I have, but I have had mine before any others were out and it works great and Chips will to and you will keep some bucks in your wallet, have some added bling that has a function

Its supposed to just trap the oil from going into the intake... right? I've seen them much cheaper than $109, especially considering how simple they are. (Some guys have even made some home-made ones). On Ebay they're about $35-$40..

Default Understanding the theory..............

Take the time and read Dave68's article;http://www.conceptualpolymer.com/PCV...oval%20101.pdf I use a very similar design coalescing filter on both my C5s.http://www.conceptualpolymer.com/new_page_1.htm Understand the principal and you'll know what catch can or coalescing filter to buy. You'll also realize you don't want it mounted close to a heat source. http://www.catchcans.com/can1.html Does this look familiar.

Definitely get one- Remember, cheaper is not always better. I went the Elite Engineering route, slightly more expensive but a real quality product!

Just a quick reminder, these are not the single chamber catch cans found on Ebay.

The CCA can is a double chamber design, which is much more efficient at removing the oil vapors from the air.

Peace
Chip

Get one, I was on the fence about if I really needed one or not as I have a stock '98 with just an exhaust. I bought a can from Elite and am really happy with it. I installed it and took the car on a 700 mile trip and was amazed at the oil it caught.

That is a vented can. It's pretty application specific for really big HP and/or race cars.

Having said that, you can use it but you will mist your engine compartment with oil.

Peace
