I've been wanting to move to coil overs for a while. Just acquired some T1 bars and with the holidays, cash is tight. Thought I could piece together my coil overs, 1 set at a time. In the mustang crowd when I had mine, I bought the fronts then the rears.
I understand. The adjustable QA1 shocks were offered to me at a great price, but I decided to put them off. The vendor said they were on the shop car for a very short period of R&D use.
I thought I might be able to find another buyer for them for the vendor. He may not have them any longer anyway.
My $0.02 is just put that money in the bank and let it get a few cents interest while you save for the full set. That way you can install at the same time and properly corner-weight and allign the car.
The real magic of coil-overs is in the car setup, not really that they make the car grip the road better than the oem transferse leafs and shocks.
