Me and my wife just purchased our first vette!! we are in the nashville, tn area. Its all stock, garage kept and is our weekend car. I was wondering what our first mod should be. Any suggestions?
Congrat's on becoming a vette owner... you're going to love it.
As far as mod's go, assuming you would like to see some performance improvement, probably a good place to start is to enable the car to breathe better....a high flow intake and a cat back (performance exhaust) is a good place to start. The nice thing about the cat back is that depending on your tastes, you can keep the car sounding near the same, or, go super loud and wake up your neighborhood. After that, watch out for the mod bug. Once you start, its hard to stop

It's actually a cags eliminator for the mn6. The eliminator lets you shift into second gear at low speed/rpm applications, a great and cheap mod. Some "purists" will tell you to drive it correctly and you won't need this, but that's a foolish argument. There are plenty of low speed applications where it comes in handy.
Some cheap and easy mods and must haves are cags, clb, hood seal, ss inserts, and exhaust plate.
My two favorite mods are GHL exhaust, and heated seats. I would hate to have to choose between these two.
And you need Zaino.
Good luck.
