In my case, my first mod was interior pieces, red and black boot, Ebrake, pedals....Now I'm looking at Z wheels....Welcome and give the wave...

Welcome to the family.
I usually change the wheels on a stock car first. For performance mods, start with a new air intake.

Congrat's on becoming a vette owner... you're going to love it.

As far as mod's go, assuming you would like to see some performance improvement, probably a good place to start is to enable the car to breathe better....a high flow intake and a cat back (performance exhaust) is a good place to start. The nice thing about the cat back is that depending on your tastes, you can keep the car sounding near the same, or, go super loud and wake up your neighborhood. After that, watch out for the mod bug. Once you start, its hard to stop

If its a MN6 install a CAGS if it's not already there.

If it hasn't had any Column Lock recall or bypass installed, do a bypass module.

Zaino.... is that a mod?

Judging by his screen name, I'm going to take a wild guess and say a 2000 coupe.

As far as that first mod goes, you can't beat that perfornance hood seal!

It's actually a cags eliminator for the mn6. The eliminator lets you shift into second gear at low speed/rpm applications, a great and cheap mod. Some "purists" will tell you to drive it correctly and you won't need this, but that's a foolish argument. There are plenty of low speed applications where it comes in handy.
Some cheap and easy mods and must haves are cags, clb, hood seal, ss inserts, and exhaust plate.
My two favorite mods are GHL exhaust, and heated seats. I would hate to have to choose between these two.
And you need Zaino.
Good luck.
