'twas the night before Christmas and in the garage there wasn't a trace of a porsche, ferrari, or dodge the presents were wraped and the lits were all lit so I figured I'd mess with the Corvette just a bit I popped the release and lifted the hood then a deep voice behind me said "looks pretty good" well as you can imagine ,I turned mighty quick and there by workbench stood good Ole Saint Nick we faced each other not sure what to say when Santa said" don't suppose you'd trade for my sleigh " I said, "no way", Santa and started to grin but if you've got the time we'll go for a spin his little round mouth all tied up like a bow turned into a smile as he said "hey let's go" so not to distrub all the neighbors retreat we pushed her quietly into the street then taking our place to drift down the hill I switched on the key and let the clutch spill the sound that erupted took him by surprise he liked it alot by the look in his eyes with Goodyears screaming and exhaust aglow we headed out where the hot rodders go Santa's grin widened approaching hi ears with every up-shift as I climbed through the gears as we closed on 160 Santa yelled "I feel so alive" so I backed off the gas and said "wanna drive?" Ole Santa was stunned as I passed him the keys as he walks past the headlights, he shook at the knees the engine exploded with a thunderous sound as he dumped the clutch tires clawed for the ground power shift into 2nd and again into 3rd I sat there in awe at a loss for words then I hear him exclaim as we blast out of sight Merry Christmas to all one hell of a night"
