The side markers are removed with a 10mm deep socket AND standard depth from the holes of the outside tail lights. They're speed nuts and you'll need a deep socket to loosen them and the stadard size to finish it because of clearance....unless you have a 10mm open/box end wrench (that will take care of it all)
