Corvette Enhancements, hands down, are the best blackouts you'll find. They are coated/polished OEM light assemblies - not inserts. They replace the actual lens. Richard is the owner of CE and is a CF vendor. Here are a few shots of mine. These are the Black Cherry stock light version.

I have the static cling black outs right now but eventually I will be getting the ones from Corvette Enhancements.

Corvette Enhanchments are the best. I have some from exotic Vette which are cheaper you might want to give them a look as well. I would stay away from the static ones but thats my 2 cents.

I agree - get the ones from Corvette Enhancements. Richard is great to deal with.

Thanks for the link Patches! What I've been looking for, and you have a great looking car! I want all the lenses for my torch red. Just haven't been able to find this quality of lens.

Yes I have used the product niteshades, and with excellent results, but I was only able to get a nice even finish with 3 coats, (they warn you to not put more than 3 coats on because it would be to dark). I also have some tail lights that were done by Corvette Enhancements on my car right now, (an excellent product as you can tell by the many endorsements by forum members, including myself). I like them a little better they are a black cherry color where the nightshades is a smoke color. With 3 coats of the nightshades they are slightly darker than the tail lights I had done at Corvette Enhancements. Maybe with a little practice you could get the nightshades to look good with just 2 coats and they wouldn't be as dark (this product seems to run very easily, much more easily that normal spray paint).

Another vote for CE. I've tried every other type of blackout including:

- vinyl decal
- flat acrylic
- molded acrylic
- spray tint (VHT nightshades)

Richard's coating process is by far superior.
