Parked the vette for the winter a week ago, it snowed almost immediately after I parked it LOL talk about timing.
Last year I was cruising in a fly yellow 92 Pontiac Sunbird, 3.1 V6 5 speed I picked up for $500. Not a vette but at least it had have a pair of ***** to get moving (about 180hp). I would have kept it had mother nature not decided to flood my street with saltwater from the canal across the street.
Now I'm driving a 1993 Volkswagen Fox Polo 5 speed I picked up for $300... 1.3 liter 4 cylinder... 90 hp. I've driven riding lawn mowers that are faster. I mean I'm not even used to judging traffic making left turns with this they come up so damn quickly when you dont have 400hp under your foot! At least it runs good but I have to rev the **** out of it for it to really move... At least it gets good mileage... Is it April yet? I don't know how I'm gonna make it!!

Just send the VW to ECS for a street tune and 4.10 gear ratio change. This mod will bring April to you quicker.
A Hypo Hood seal wouldn't hurt as well. I'd also send the roof to Paula H.

I feel for ya my brother... back in my college days, I am for the first time admitting on this board that I drove a Yugo GV (Good Value?) with a struggling 1000cc engine. It got me through school, but definitely no dates. It actually survived a long time after and I used it for drives into bad neighborhoods, extended stays at the airport, and dates I couldn't get out of. Interestingly, I eventually got rid of it not because it didn't run anymore, but because California had toughened the smog laws and smog garages quoted me $700 to make smog legal a $300 car.
