The Z06 I drove over the weekend also had terrible wind noise with the windows up at around 65mph on the drivers side. I am sure it would be much worse the faster I went.
I don't think I noticed this in the other one- are they all stricken with this problem?
You were hearing the road noise........coming from the tires. All factory Z06's are like this. There is no sound dampening material under the carpet. It's another item that adds to weight.

Mine's not bad. I would compare CLOSELY the fit of the window on yours with one that has no noise problem. There are adjustments & weather strip can tear.
i have a lot of wind noise in my z but thats only over 85. when i drove back this weekend from ruidoso i had a lot of wind noise, also a lot of drone. nothing some music cant cover up. i know that the cause is my weatherstripping
No the windnoise car which I don't think I would want at most any pricepoint now is being offered for a non-negotiable 30,998 (CARMAX). The previous owner listed it for sale on here and locally for a long time with no luck so he traded it in at a lower price I know but will not disclose as he is a forum member and has been very helpful to me.
the 7,000 mile car was perfect and they were asking 37,980.00- I will buy a c6 before I touch that one... My dad picked up his 08 crystal red npp coupe yesterday and it is AWESOME!
Mine does it too - at 6000 miles. Sounds like it is from the back edge of the window rather than the top. Starts at around 60-65mph. I will try to adjust it out in the spring (which means May here in Minnesota!) - seals are in perfect condition so it is not that.
My 03 has the same wind noise on the driver side when I purchased the car with 16K a year ago. A couple months ago, I removed the inner panel and went through the various adjustments found in the manual. It is much better now, I never got water through the leading edge, but still hear the wind at free way speeds. I might end up replacing the rubber seal one of these days.
My 06 Z06 has to be reset if the battery is unhooked or if there is any noise. Put the windows all the way down and then run the window up to the top and hold for three seconds and then hold up for another three seconds and the window is recalibrated.

What A nightmare guys.....
At 85+ The wind noise is just wrong on my car..!
Its almost like its coming from the directly behind my ears to my left side...
Iam still trying to figure this one out...
I just picked my car up about a week ago it has 8,000 miles on it now and there is NO wind noise at all at any speed. There is road noise but no wind noise. I would say something is off with that car.
