Do not have these guys replace you enging. This sounds like alot of BS. Take you car to your local performance shop and have them perform the work. I am sure that your insurance will have no problem cutting them a check. Please don't let these guys work on your car.

My $8000 motor has a whole lot more ponies than my Vette does. If I could just keep the car straight when I punch it.

Take it somewhere reputable, get one hell of an engine, and drive slowly over the train tracks.

I know you are not in Cali, but nonetheless; you may want to get copies of these (from your state) in your hands when you go to retrieve your car
