Default question about thermostat

Hi...

Where can I find the best/fair deal for a 2002 zo6 thermostat??...either the original or the lower temp 175.....oh, is it a do it yourselfer???.....or do i need to take it in????....

You can find them at any aftermarket supplier. It is a very easy install
(15mins). If you go with a cooler running stat you may need to have the pcm adjusted also. I have a hypertech and it keeps the car between 160/170*

You can also try Jegs or Summit if you want a 160 deg thermostat. www.Rock Auto.com for a standard one.

I changed mine. It is easy.
There is a specific coolant refill procedure. that involved idling and running with the gap off to burp the system. You can find it in the archives...It wa s also posted about 2 days ago.
