Have 3:42 now with 6 speed trans.Considering gear change.Looking for extra punch at a roll. About what rpm would i be at going 60 in top gear with 390s and 410s. Gear swap is about 1400 bucks installes
I went to 390's and 6th gear, roughly 70 MPH is now ~1850RPM - that's about 200 to 250 more than before. Not a huge difference and unsure about 410's. Big seat of the pants difference though, enjoy either one

even at 80MPH, I am just at about 2100 RPM with my 390's. Love them.
Most people on here are going to tell you to go with the 410's but do what you think is best for you. I rode in a C5 with 410's and the pull was great (not that much more than 390's though) but I did not like turning that much higher RPM. The 390's are perfect for my driving style and mods I have.

4.10s here and love 'em. 1700 RPMs at 65 MPH in 6th gear. fuel mileage is up to (on flat road with the cruise set) 31.8 on the DIC. Performance Mods= Honker, Cat Back, and Tune. Headers, Cats, and X pipe in the near future.
Go to West Coast Corvette site and do a search for their gear / rpm graph. When I changed my rear end out I used this graph, as it gives you both auto and manual conversions all the way up to 170 mph I believe.
Take into consideration of how often you will be at top speed of your Vette for the gear ratio to even matter. That being said, there is nothing like a set of 4.10's I was on the fence also but took the wise advice of many and did the 4.10's, it was the right decision. Note: I had the 4.10's before I did the SC, the car was H/C then
