I send you my condolences my friend. Wishing the warm weather return fast.
At the risk of asking a really dumb question, I have seen several threads where people in cold and snowy climates don't drive their cars in the winter. Is that they don't make adequate snow tires for the vette and/or they're concerned about the damage from the salt put on the road? What are main concerns about winter exposure?

Sorry for your weather problems! I just can't imagine those conditions.
Come on down and play with us in Texas. You get to drive your car all year long, and you don't have to shovel snow out of your driveway.
Bill's right man. Down here in Cypress, TX we drive the vette's all year round. It's the middle of December and I'm still cruising with the windows down!
Been without my baby for over a month now.........I'd just like to sit in it for a while.............and doesn't matter at this point how long they take to get it done............no way in hell am I going to drive a Mint condition brand new paint job on these roads...........I've driven my car year around for the past 2 winters...........NO More
I've had to shovel 1/2 of my street before just to get up a "hill" (and when I say hill I mean a slope that would barely roll a ball) with only 1-1.5" of snow on the road...........
send your car to me here in NC, I'll drive it around for you !
60 degrees and sunny in Houston... send her down here so I can show her a good time (all joking aside... mine has been in the shop for a week getting some mods and I am crawling the walls)
Yep, snow on the ground from December to April here in Minnesota. I can sympathize. I am banking on getting that new car feeling all over again in the spring, that is what is getting me through!
Havent driven mine in well over a month here..... dont drive it a whole lot anyway. I will drive it once or twice in the winter months if we dont have any snow and the salt washes off the streets otherwise its garage city.
My car is under a cover 2hra away from where I live since its nasty outside.. I keep thinking about her about every 10 mins.. Being on CF does not help...
Have you ever thought of moving south? We rarely get snow down here. It was in the mid 70's here in Atlanta this week. Great weather for the Z.
I drive the vet year round. She really likes the 20 degree weather with no snow. Although a little rain wouldn't hurt every now and then.
Like 20" or more
I feel your pain. It's winter in Michigan. Cold, snow and dark by 5:00 p.m. The Z06 is tucked away in a giant zippered bag.
I have a big cardboard box in the spare bedroom that I put the parts I've been ordering for the springtime modfest once the weather breaks. My wife thinks it's painting supplies. Something to help me get through the winter.
Hang in there.............FOUR MORE MONTHS!

I feel your pain I haven't driven mine in about two weeks due to the weather. I starting to go crazy.lol I don't see how people can store them all winter. It's hard enough to go a few days let alone four months.
If it makes you feel any better here in South Florida you can drive year around BUT there is also gridlock all year around, no curvy or open country roads all year around, and hotter than hell with 100% humidity all year around except for 2 months, 3 months if we are lucky....
