There is a light under the rear view mirror on the passenger side that is yellow/orange in nature. What the heck is it for? My guess would be another indication that the airbag is off on the passenger side.
You thought it was some sort of airbag indicator light? hehehe no its just the "mood" light. Tons of new cars come with them everything from Hondas to BMW's. They just look nice.

Thanks guys! Interesting little light. You learn something new about the corvette everyday.
Here's something you can learn from my mistake and learning the hard way...
Always make sure the light is off before leaving the car (check the interior light switch). I drained two batteries(stock battery and a brand new Red Top subsequently) before I realized the light was left on. That's what I get for doing all my driving in the day time.
It wasn't until dusk the night after my new Red Top drained, I took it back to Sears(in my truck), swapped it, put it in, and drove around that I realized it was on... "Why is my hand so bright when I adjust the A/C??? OHHHHH!!!! DUUUUUHHHHH!!!!"

I KNEW that there was more to it than lighting the shifter or console.
