Well, there have been a few threads about the intermittent starting problem. I changed my theft deterrent relay and thought that fixed it, but nooooo, last night wouldn't start again, but twenty minutes later fired right up, this morning no issue as well. I could hear the relays triggering, there are two as you turn the key. I figure one must be the theft deterrent and the second passes signal to I will guess the starter solenoid. The stealer said could be a bad armature where a spot is bad and when it sits there it does not get power...then again, if that's the case, why does it start a little later? And they can't troubleshoot unless it is not starting...so far it has always started within 3-25 minutes, though last night was the longest time by far.
I guess I may try the neutral switch if someone can tell me where it is....later this week I'll check the battery cables/connections, but they look really clean to me right now, but just to satisfy the troubleshooting procedures.
It's aggravating....never know when it may not start, and of course it is always when you want to get somewhere. Still could be ignition, but I don't want to get into that part....so I'll check everything else I can first.
Just venting the frustration.....
