Default Fluid Changes
Aside from the manual's recommendations, how often should the brake fluid, clutch fluid, and power steering fluid be changed?

If you don't have a manual, keep an eye on the color of the fluid. Contaminated fluid will definitely look different.

The darker it is the more it needs changed.

I just changed my brake and clutch fluid this summer - had 34K miles on it and was getting dark. Car was 6.5 years old at the time.
