This was my 1st time at the track with my 00Frc. My only mods at that time were Vararam & Ti exhaust. The M3 is my buddies and its completely stock and this was his first time at a track ever.
Enjoy the vid!
I've never seen an M3 run at a 1/4 mile track. Still a nice car even if its a few ticks slower than many things out there right now. Everyone seems to judges cars solely by their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Pretty cool video.

First time I've seen a E46 M3 on a drag strip. Nice runs, both of you.
Wow this is Deja Vu! I was just reading the M3 forum and saw this then I came here and saw it here. Good run. I have a 2005 Comp M3 which is my baby! I just bought a convertible 2001 vette. So I'm back and forth between the forums. The vette has great torque. I seem to get the rear end out quite easy on the vette where as my M3 sticks more but I do have mods on the M.. I appreciate people here and there realizing that 0-60 times are nice but just that if you only like that. Someone will always have a faster 0-60 time. Both cars are great cars. I don't see the reason many people think there so superior then others because of the car they have or yeah I'm way faster then you! Makes me laugh sometimes.. Fast isn't always just about a straight line. I know on the M forums many people talk about not just going fast but taking classes on a track to become a better driver which in turn can make you a faster driver and hopefully better driver. Learning to control you car and its performance is an important thing for you and the others driving around you. I plan on taking a car clinic this next year that BMW offers in San Francisco at ATT park. Does corvette groups or clubs or chevy themselves offer the same type of deal?? Any help would be great..
