hit a bump
running late to pu my bro from the airport and i hit one of those temporary metal covers they use for utility work as I was going close to 50 mph.
Anything to worry about? Checked steering and so far no problem.

drive it at about 55 on a flat road and see if it pulls to one side. Most likely it is fine. I have hit pot craters and mine was still ok

Should be ok, certainly not as bad as a crater!

I ran over a set of RR tracks today going a little faster than I should have. The loudest damn "bang" I've ever heard! Don't think it hurt anything, but it sure scared the hell out of me!!!

What Seabee Batallion were you in? I was in MCB-6, stationed out
of Davisville, Rhode Island. Discharged 9-24-1969.

Really don't think you will have any problems. Usually they are not that much of a bump to go over.
