Default Transmission Trouble

I took my '97 to a dealer in South FL to replace the slave clutcch cylinder that was leaking. They did but now 2nd and 4th do not come in. I took it back and they gave me the run around. I even went to Chevrolet but they believe the dealer and not me
All the other gears come in OK except those two. Any possible answers?
I thougt it could be some adjustment issue or missalingnment. I do not have any other possible answers here.
Any other incident like this out there?

they probably did not adjust the shifter correctly... www.rpmtransmissions.com has the adjustment procedure on their website.

Shifter and linkage adjustment is all that it should be. Unless they damaged something reinstalling the tranny/torque tube/ rear end.

I had a similar issue and found that the shifter was not tight on the shifter housing. (self inflicted ) Used too short of a fastener on an aftermarket shifter!

Remove the console, inspect the shifter, shifter housing, housing to torque tube bolts, and the shift linkage to shifter shaft connection. Then do a neutral adjustment! See if that corrects the issue!

Do you have a STOCK Shifter or and aftermarket shifter??
