Default Fast or LS6?

Hello,
I plan to go heads and cam with the stock motor and am wondering if going with a FAST intake manifold/TB creates rough idle compared to the LS6 intake manifold. Is it worth the gains? The money and possible idle issues?

Thanks,
Rick

What year Vette do you have? The '01-'04 base C5 already has the LS6 intake. But if you plan on doing heads and cam then I would go with the FAST.

Stick with the L6. The FAST is not worth it for what you are doing.

On a car w/ a large cam a ported FAST w/ a 90mm TB is worth 20ish rwhp.

To me it's not worth the $$$ for the gain.

If your looking for every last bit of power get the FAST. A good tuner should be able to make the car idle the same as the LS6 manifold.

BTW, I picked up 20rwhp with mine.

with a H/C swap I would say the fast would definitely benefit you.
