Looks like you have amountain of work to keep you busy. I'd say the Corsa sounds like a good choice.
Things to do for me:
Refurbish my hood liner
Brake reline - I've got the Hawk HPS pads ready to go
Relocate the brain for my AVIC under the seat
Fit an overtaking camera; (driving on the left can be exciting when you need to overtake)
Trips:
Another visit to the UK Corvette Nationals
A run around the Nurburgring Nordschleife
Never really thought about that, but I guess it'd be a bit harder to pass on the right when you're sitting on the left.
You need to take a healthy lurch into the oncoming cars to take a look. With the power of the Vette after that it's easy. I see some if I get the timing wrong

If you do the Blue Ridge, be sure to go to Maggie Valley NC and visit the Wheels Through Time Museum. Dale Waksler is a real character and a great guy. He has nothing but the best stuff in his Museum. http://www.wheelsthroughtime.com/
Get the kids back to college, they are driving us crazy. Oops, wrong thread.
A thorough detailing is about all I have (can afford) on the horizon. That college thing crimps everything for a while.
The HID's in proper projector lenses is definitely on the top of my list along with a catback of some sort(z06 Ti perhaps), Koni shocks and replacing all this Bose garbage.
I do a lot of performance driving events so a short throw shifter, track/street pads and some sticky summer tires would be nice too.
