I just changed my intake manifold for a new BBK manifold and throttle body. I now get reduced engine power and three faults, 2 throttle pos and one electronic throttle. I double checked everything and I'm stumped. Any ideas would be welcome. I also posted on the tech sight.
My 01 went into Reduced Engine Power mode this summer, 12 hours from home.
Problem turned out to be a poor connection in the terminal that plugs on to the TAC module.
My point is, the slightest electrical problem in the electronic throttle control will shut down the system in the interest of safety. Check your harness terminals very carefully, use an ohmmeter to try to locate an open in the terminal. Maybe a terminal has pushed back inside?
It's always possible that the TPS or the motor itself is faulty too. Are you using your old units that were OK before? If they were good before, I'd sure look at those terminals closely!
Be sure you post back when you solve your problem, I'd like to know what the problem was ...... good luck!
Mine did the same when I went to a 90MM Fast & TB. It was in the tune. One of the tables needed to be changed. I agree above..any major change or anything wrong can result in the Reduced Engine Power. If you don't get it yourself..find a good tuner. They will find it fast for you and adjust. Good Luck.

I'll check the connections again in the morning. I had the computer tuned a couple of months ago by RPM motors in ca after i put long tube headers on. Thanks for the replys
I found the reduced engine power problem, when I swaped over the throttle one of the gears stayed on the old throttle body. Now I have a real problem. When the car starts it goes to 8000 rpm and than to about 100 and wants to die. If I give it some throttle it will rev but just seems to be struggling. I don't know if its a leak or an injector. It isn't kicking any faults. I'm at a lost
Thanks for all the help guys. I did call charle and he gave some pointers. I finally took the manifold back off to start all over and found a hole where a plug was suppose to go. I found the plug in the box, put it in and runs like a top now. I wish I would have noticed the hole in the first place. It sure would have saved me a lot of heart ache. Thanks again everone
