Default Towing a C5

Is it possible, or anyone done it?? I am talking about behind another vehicle without a trailer. Is there anykind of towing adaptor that will fit a C5? I have a M6 if it makes any difference.

Possibly moving across country is why I am asking. I would rather not drive it.

Thanks

You can get one of those cradles for the front wheels, There is no way I would tow my car that way. I would get a trailer and tow it that way and cover the front of the car, Going across coutry towing a car can really damage it. Or like the other member said, A flatbed...

Budget Truck rental was the cheapest I found. Around $350 picking up in AZ and Dropping in NH

I rented a uhaul. Not very expensive. Probably your best bet, if you have a truck tow it yourself rather than someone else...for peace of mind.

There are a number of car transport companies across the country, who would also transport inside of a trailer. That is the only way I would go. Spend a little more money for the peace of mind that the car being transported inside can make.

Like everybody says "trailer it". There is no easy place to connect a tow bar and if you use a tow dolly it lifts one end up far enough that you risk dragging the other end when you hit bumps. Quite a few C5s have been towed on U Haul trailers.

Towing? Don't! Do you realize how much crap the tow vehicle will be throwing at your car? Rent a trailer or ship it, you'll be glad you did.

I agree with the masses here - either drive it or trailer it. Sure wouldn't tow it.
