I prefer the flush look. And I've notice the entire rear end stays cleaner for much longer...not just around the lights.

I like the stock look better because the dust under the tail lights gives me another reason to wash the car.

How many reasons could there be for wanting to do this mod or not.

They either look good to you or they don't.

I personally think they look hideous when flush mounted.

I love the flush mount. It makes the back look bigger. I like them big!

I did mod to make mine flush and also added bulb seals. Very satisfied because area stays cleaner. I think it's a matter of preference and what YOU will end up liking.

flush=ugly as hell just ruins the back of the car.

I personally think the two most dis-tasteful mods for the vette would be flush mount taillights and all that stupid chrome trim and louvers guys put on the back.

At first I liked the recessed look but after about one year of ownership I liked flush due to the elimination of the drip that come out of the recessed lenses. When I switched to LED's I thought about goint back to recessed but just did not like the look.

i flushed mine for a while. i went back to stock because the lenses are actually a bit smaller than the openings at the edge of the bumper so it gave it a gapped look that i didn't care for.

Default Flush and seal kit!

I used the kit and made mine flush and added the seal kit at the same time. Personally, and that is all I care about, it looks great. I added the sequential turn signal and pulsing third brake light kit also, just wish I could see how cool they are when I am driving
