Hey Vet Buddies Why Is It That You Can Not Find A Chevy Symbol On A Corvette. There Is None That Pop Out To You.i Asked This Question Because, Some People Say I Didn't Know Chevy Made Corvettes.:d
There's a big bow tie under the license plate in the rear....
Those that don't know who makes the Corvette probably don't need to know or really care.
FWIW - Who makes the Bentley? (Volkswagen) Who makes the Rolls Royce? (BMW) What difference does it really make?
I can't let you get away with that one Randy
The Germans may have bought out our automotive heritage but the companies are still here in the Old Country (Bentley at Crewe and RR at Goodwood). They even sold off Rover but kept the Mini design and make out its a BMW
The Germans may own the companies now but it's still Brits that make the cars
But you are right in that who cares any more?
BTW, I thought there was abig plan about a year ago to put the Chevy lgo on all new Chevvies including the C6. Did it never happen?

You are right Dave, the cars may still be made in GB, by Brits - but the profits go the Fatherland. Toyota, Nissan, Subaru and Honda all have plants in the USA - and the cars are made by American workers....but does that make them American cars? Volkswagens are made in South America and Mexico - they are still German cars......
In this "world economy" where components are made all over the world, it's very difficult to define the national origin of cars anymore. I happened to open up my left door control module yesterday and the components on the board (the ones I could read anyway) came from Thailand, Japan and China.....in my all American Corvette! Oh the humanity!
All GM cars now starting with the '06 models have a small GM metal tag somewhere on the car - including the C6. My '07 Cadillac has it on the front driver's side fender just in front of the door.
Like I said - who cares and what's the difference!!!
