Or do we need to replace the whole door when the outer skin's fiberglass is crashed into? Would it be cheaper to glass/bondo and repaint or just replace with like color door?
I wish these drunk driving jerks would at least leave an "I'm sorry note" when running into parked cars!
God Bless them! God Bless them upside the head...... real good!
The pictures in the Service Manual seem to indicate the outer skins are replaceable. However, I can't find any instructions on how to do that in the manual. There may be a more detailed collision repair manual that isn't part of the normal Service Manual. The skins are SMC and the service manual does have instructions on how to repair SMC.

Although I am not a show and shine person I would not replace the door skins as individual pieces.
When the body shop worked on my door they recommended against it and said to replace the entire door frame. Reason being is that they have to glue the two pieces together and you will get seepage of the glue around the skin.
For resale that is a big indicator something more serious might have been wrong. Glue will seep where you see the outer skin meet the door framing, you can see where its currently bonded as two pieces.
Its not cheap, almost double in price, but thats one of the few things I'd be wary of cutting a corner on for cosmetics.
