I purchased from both GMPARTSHOUSE and GMPARTSDIRECT with good results. I recommend checking both vendors price of parts + shipping online before making a final decision.

Get your stuff from Gene at GMPartsHouse. Prices are roughly the same. If you buy from gmpartsdirect you will understand what it feels like to be a prison bitch after paying the shipping.

I've used them in the past. They are Forum vendors which is good.

They're an internet business so customer service/feedback is not great. If your order is correct you'd have no problem. Special orders or changes to orders are a little hit and miss as you have to do it all by E Mail. Their prices are OK but shipping can be expensive. Do a check on the total price; not just the headline.

I'd say there are a number of Forum vendors who would give a more personal service at great prices. JMHO

Another "Go with Gene" for me. I've ordered a couple things from GMPartsDirect -- expensive shipping and took FOREVER to get my parts -- and then there's that whole "we don't guarantee our online catalog has the correct part #s" crap... GMPartsHOUSE (conversely) I've ALWAYS had GREAT service, GREAT prices, FAST shipping, and FAST responses to my questions...

Default Like anything else it pays to shop around

I've used both GMPartsDirect and GMPartsHouse with no issues, but their prices are never the same. GMPartsDirect is sometimes ludicrous in calculating shipping costs. GMPartsHouse is a little more consistent/reasonable. It pays to shop around. Gene at GMPartsHouse provides good customer service. He's helped me a couple of times. A rare occurance in this day and age. He's also very knowledgeable. Haven't had to use customer service at GMPartsDirect yet, so no opinion on it.

Have used GMPartshouse on a couple of occasions and have been very pleased with the price, accuracy, and promptness of my orders.

I bought radio console from GMpartsdirect. It was very well packed and fast delivery. Also bought some other stuff and so far no complaints.
Like AlohaC5 says it could be worth of checking both vendors before placing the order.

Have a nice shopping!

I have gotten several misc. parts from them. Nothing has ever been on backorder and things got to me pretty fast too.

I have not bought from either but have requested info from Gene and get a quick reply. If I were to buy it would be Gene. He is definitely into customer service and satisfaction.

Tell me about it! I went to GMPartsDirect and ran as fast as I could...

What a business model... You order the part from GMPartsDirect based on their website and if the part number is wrong, you're the one that is screwed!! As noted, their shipping charges are over priced -- obviously to offset the "discount" part prices.
