Headlight Lift
I changed out my low-beam lamps with HELLA HB4 Xenon Blues (really can't see much difference from the bulbs I took out). In doing this I must have messed up the gearing on the drivers side headlight lift. It goes up fine but when I turn the lights off, it goes down and continues to grind for about 5-10 seconds after the light assembly is completely down - then the motor stops. I've tried manually raising and lowering it both partially and entirely to no avail. Any ideas???

Your gears are toast!
You will have to replace them and I suggest the brass gears that I just put on yesterday!
