Default Escort saved my bacon

Well actually, saved me three times last night! First going to our gtg, my escort goes off and I begun to slow down, but this jerk behind me (raised pu) won't get off my bumper so I was cruising at 82 when suddenly I see lights three cars back and my detector was going crazy for almost a minute by now. I was like, great, a ticket. Then the lights suddenly turned off, but my detector was still going nuts! Suddenly the idiot in the pu, decided to take off and gunned it passing me at least over 95 and suddenly, I see brake lights ahead and wham! Lights! The trooper managed to sneak to my left and he saw the truck and went after him. The second and third time, I was coming back from our gtg and again my detector start picking up and sure enough, a white unmark suv was cruising in the middle lane and shooting people as they pass him onn the left and right. The third time was coming over a hill as the freeway ended. I pu the trooper a full 30 seconds before I saw him sitting on the shoulder as I crest the hill. He pulled over the car on my left as it zoomed pass me as I braked to slow down. Valentine one would have told where the radar was coming from, but once I hear a beep, I always slow down no matter what. It sure was a great $300 investment.

Ya, but if you had arrows, you would have known EXACTLY where he was (sarcasm).

I picked up the 8500 x50. Also gave one to my bro as an xmas gift. He loves to open up his c6Z. I would love to have the alentine one, but it was too big. Always had escort since the late 80's and early 90's. Saved my bacon a few time back then when i was driving my Typhoon as a dd.

Man, I really wanted to open her as they just repaved 215 by Green Valley Ranch Casino, but Henderson's finest and NHP were on the prowl tonight.

Certainly paid to be protected for you. Good investment I'd say.

Wha??? You have not upgraded to the latest technology, along with the corresponding Corvette Tax to accompany it? It's not about how good something works, everyone knows you HAVE to have directional indication arrows on your Radar Detector...Gheez, get with the program!

P.S...Slowing down works good too, hehehe (HA!, Like I am one to be talking!!)

The new Passport SR7 will detect all the different kinds of radar, and it also has a laser scrambler. Yes, it will actually delay the reading the officer gets for several seconds, more than enough time to slow down. And it mounts very, very discreetly under your bumpers. The only part you see is about the size of a credit card maybe and about 1/2 inch thick. Saved me more than a few times.

I wonder how much money I've saved over the years by just driving the speed limit?
