loose side mirror

hey is there a post that can talk about a loose side mirror. i am going to hurt my child if he is lying to me about not touching the mirror. thanks

The Corvette mirror (when in decent condition) is supposed to be able to twist on its axis. If you bump it, it will usually turn accordingly. When the mirror, paint, plastic, etc., gets old, they have been known to break when bumped a little too hard or too abruptly.

There is a small clip/stop that will sometimes break when you bump the mirror from the back to the front. If this is the case, I believe that you will end up replacing the mirror as a unit.

BTW, joking or not joking, nobody here wants to hear about you "hurting your child" over an accident involving your car.

I understand the issue with lying, and hopefully you will be fair.
