Which side of the transmission does the CAGS Eliminator plug into, driver side or passenger? Going ot install it tonight but knowing that will save me some time squeezed under the Z. Thanks in advance!

I had a resistor laying by my computer that I was going to use for this. I have misplaced it now, but you can install the resistor and it will do the same as the aftermarket plug. Seems like it was around 2200 ohms or so.

Exactly. Its 5 resistors for $.99 at radio shack and yes...they are 2.2Kohms.
Be prepared to repalce that module in about a year. Seems most last about that long.
However, I went to "Fry's electronics", and got 1/2w resistors intead of 1/8w or 1/4w. 2.2k Ohm is the proper value, and you'll have to buy a $1.39 pack of 4. I went that route instead. Those have been in there for a year and a half so far, with NO problems.
Luckily I was able to swap the CAGS Eliminator from my 2004 GTO to save a little $. It is an inline unit that plugs into the tranny that the original line plugs into. Hopefully it will last a while. Thanks for the tip!
