Previous owner put blue pinstripes on the car. These are very expensive to remove (painted on). So I'm wondering if I should paint the calipers the same color blue of if that would be too ricey.
The previous owner had painted them red which is now flaking off so If I dont do blue I'm going to paint them black. So what is in better taste? Matching blue or simple black?
I'll vote blue same as the stripes. Black lettering. If I couldn't remove the stripes I would try to accent some of the other items on the car to match.
Anybody can look basic only a few have the canards to look different. I painted mine white with red lettering this week. (On a white vert TR interior)

WOW, what a pain!!! The old red paint is flaking in some places but very solid in others. Worked for 4 hours on it last night and only finished one caliper!!! I'll post pics when I finish.
Don't suppose putting them back to their natural state is of interest to you? Sort of a warm gray with metal finish letters, the caliper bracket is black.
Sorry no pictures of it's natural state from the factory, at the moment.
