No...especially when there are many people here approaching 200,000 (some with even more) and still going strong!

I'm at 131k on my 98. Only car and daily driver. Drive around town at the speed limit most of the time and every once in a while try to go to the moon on the highway. Oh and its modded ; ) I would not worry about that mileage unless it is highly modded or had nitrous or was not maintained or warmed up at all...now there will be maintanence.

That being said so far I've HAD to replace power steering pump, a/c compressor, radiator, harmonic balancer, oil pressure sensor, plugs/wires, headlight module, wheel bearing, passenger door lock module, clutch, shocks. Some of these gave a chance to do mods, changed out a lot of other things by choice

6100 miles per year. Depends on where it was located. Much more than a Garage Queen, but less than most Daily Drivers.

The engine is designed to go 200,000 miles.

BTW, my 1998 daily driver has 110,000 miles and I have had only 2 problems (oil sensor and one headlight gear).

Default Math test

My math skills might be lacking, however, isn't 61,000 miles divided by 10 years of use (1998-2008) 6,100 miles per year, not 8,000????

I feel I don't drive my '01 enough.
It has only 113 K miles on it.
So 61K on a '99 makes almost makes it a garage queen

Many Corvettes are only used on weekends. As such many only log 4K miles a year. While there are a lot of ' 99s around with 40K miles on the clock, 61K is not high.

Couple of people asked what repairs I've made. There have been lots of little things but two more serious ones. Transmission and lifters. Trans was the expensive item of course. After 3rd failure, I gave up and bought a new tranny, MM6
