All round driving is a little vague... what is your budget?
C6Z06 shocks are a good upgrade over stock and are the cheapest.
Next:
Bilstein HDs
Bilstein Sports (both cost around the same)
Koni FSDs, better shock but a jump in price.
There are others out there, but these are the most common. I use bilstein sports and I'm very satisfied with them.
