This was the second most commonly prodced FRC color. Second only to Torch Red for that year. All commercially available cars had black interiors.
Good information here. I would have thought rare if he had said Nassau Blue (202) or Arctic White (311).

Default Will be Rare

I have the '00 FRC. It is loaded from the factory. No Mods on the motor.
Has driving lites, 12 CD, dual air, heated mirrors, power steering cooler, Z19, Z51, HUD, High Polished thin spokes, 3:42 rearend, 6sp., lites under hood and trunk and is in perfect condition. Rare? With as little as a tad over 2000 made eight years ago and I've only been able to find in the United States as few as only 1100 registered today. Rare? Of course not. Production numbers mean nothing unless its paint color? They were base models that the Z06 evoloved from. Rare? Hell No! Go out and buy a Coupe or Convertable that has some real production numbers. I love the Coupe and Convertable but I prefer the cheap inexpensive lower production numbered loaded to the teeth FRC.

My '99 was built 5/13/99. It has factory HUD, I have the original window sticker. Also, have the other options mentioned. About the only thing it doesn't have is the multiple disc changer.
According to the '99 production numbers, 12% of '99 FRCs have HUD.

This is true. If you have a '99 with HUD that is very rare. Do you have driving lites? Seems the HUD, driving lites, 12cd and dual air are very strong ops for the '99 FRC. You have a very nice Vette and should hang on to this as long as you can. It will only appreciate in time. Remember only a little over 4000 built in '99 and I am curently looking up the registery for the '99 FRC in the U.S. I will keep you posted by PM.

What's rare is to see that someone still has the Wagon wheels on their car...
