Default glove box replacing

Does anyone have the directions to the glove box removal and replacing? Especially one with the air bag turn off switch. I did a search and could not find it.

Thanks

It is pretty easy. Remove the plastic plugs inside the glove box and use a wobble extension to remove the 2 bolts (I think they are 10mm). Then remove the screws along the top edge of the glove box and the one on the side of the dash and it will come right out.

To get those 2 10mm bolts back in, I put some masking tape on the bolt heads so they would stay in the socket while trying to thread them. Then you can remove the tape with a screwdriver or needlenose pliers when you are done.

The switch comes right out when you undo the clip, as does the light.

There are directions out there somewhere on the forum... I will try and find them.

HTH,

I'm working on my wife's 01 interior, and it came out okay, but I don't know how easy it will go back in.
